The Experience: For the serious hikers! This trail takes you across the mountain ridge through dense beech forests, ending on the eastern side of Pelion in the famous village of Tsagarada. It’s a full-day adventure that showcases the wild beauty of the mountain.

Best Season: Pelion is beautiful year-round! Spring and Autumn offer the most stunning colors, while in summer, the dense foliage keeps the trails pleasantly cool.
Gear: We recommend sturdy hiking boots or sports shoes with good grip, as the traditional stone paths (kalderimia) can be slippery, especially after rain.
Water: You can fill your bottles with fresh, crystal-clear mountain water from the traditional stone fountains in the village square before you set off.

By Car: Agios Georgios Nilias is approximately a 30 minute drive from Volos city. The scenic uphill route offers stunning views of the gulf.
Parking: Free public parking is available within a short walking distance ( 50-100m ) from the guesthouse, as car access within the village’s traditional stone paths is limited.
